The 2017 KLT AGM has been deferred and will take place on the evening of Friday 29th September.

--------------------------------------------------

We have also not been successful in obtaining a director for the September play and sadly we have cancelled this production.

Therefore the committee has decided to bring forward our plans to refurbish the bar and lounge from 2018 to this year.
The refurbishment will begin on Monday 31st July and we hope to get most of the work done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings only of the next seven weeks.
A plan will be sent out soon and it is hoped that all members will join in some aspect of the clearing, building, electrical, soft furnishings and decorating work.

Our November production will be a little different; David Muncaster has adapted The Cat And The Canary in the style of a comedy live-radio-broadcast.

Other News

There is always plenty to do at the theatre so please come along on Thursday work nights and lend a hand or just give your opinion.

The bar is always open later in the evening and it is a great social time.

We generally start around 7:30pm and finish working 10pm for Beer O’Clock. (Other beverages are available too)

If you don’t feel handy with a hammer and saw, then there are other jobs to do.

There is usually work to be done both inside and outside the theatre so why not pop along and see if you can help in any way.

Can you think of ways that we can advertise better?  Let us know what you think as we want to play to full houses if we can.

If you are a member of another society then let us know what they do please.

Tell your friends and get them involved and better still get them to join.

And Finally

Another reminder that if your membership is due. Please pay it as soon as possible and make the most of your local theatre.
