Please read the following conditions carefully:

• Entries must be received by Friday,13th June.
• Entries will be accepted typewritten by post or by email as Rich Text, Microsoft Word documents or PDF files.
• All entries must be accompanied by a cover page which details the title of the piece, a props and furniture list, the estimated running time and the writer's name, address and email address where available. Reasonable lighting and sound requests can be accommodated.
• The writer's name must not be replicated anywhere on the script.
• All entries must be the writer’s own work and free of copyright.
• No payments will be made to any writer or other individual involved in the event.
• Writers who have work selected will be offered two free tickets to see their work performed and a DVD recording of the evening.
• Entries should last between one and ten minutes.
• A maximum cast of six per entry (made up of up to 3 men and 5 women)
• Entries are invited on any subject.
• An independent reading panel will make selections based on quality, variety and suitability for an adult KLT audience.
• The reading panel will complete their selection by 31st July and successful writers will be notified during August.
• Performances will take the form of rehearsed readings with script in hand, therefore stage directions, props and settings must be minimal.
